Married and with daughter by the name of Valentina born on January 1, 2009, he lives in the Mugello and works in Florence.
He obtained his Master’s Degree in Revenue Management from Cornell University.

Giancarlo boasts a prominent management experience in large hotel chains such as Boscolo Group and Sonesta, and then moved into the direct management of a Florentine hospitality enterprise.

Giancarlo is currently General Manager of Villa Olmi Resort*****, Mulino di Firenze**** and since January 2013, of Hotel Plaza Lucchesi****, all located in Florence.

Among the creators of BTO – Buy Tourism Online, he has been its coordinator since the first edition in 2008.

He is appreciated and much sought-after as a speaker on the subjects of revenue management and travel 2.0, in particular on topics that revolve around reputation, and is one of the three founders of the BTO Educational Association.

And finally, he is the Italian Analyst 2012 for PhoCusWright Inc.
